Delete Account
We respect your right to control your personal data. Here's exactly how to delete your account, what gets removed, and what we have to keep.
Two ways to delete
In-app is fastest. Email is the fallback for when you no longer have the app.
Option 1: In-App Deletion
Recommended. Account is closed immediately.
Open the Wypper app
Launch the app on your phone and log in.
Go to Profile
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom.
Tap "Delete Account"
Scroll to the bottom of Profile.
Confirm twice
Account is closed immediately.
Option 2: Email Request
For users who no longer have the app installed. Closed within 7 working days.
- Your registered phone number
- Your name on the account
- "Please delete my Wypper account"
We verify the request by sending an OTP to the registered phone. Once you confirm the OTP, the account is closed within 7 working days.

Name, email, phone (anonymised), profile, push token
Vehicle & washes
Vehicle records, wash history, before/after photos
Referral records
Bonuses already credited stay with you until used
Active subscription
Cancelled immediately. No further charges.
What is retained, and why
- Transaction records (invoice number, amount, date, payment instrument category) are kept for 8 years as required by Indian tax law (Income Tax Act and CGST Act). They are de-linked from your name and phone, so they cannot be tied back to you.
- Anonymous server logs are retained for up to 30 days as part of normal operations.
- Beyond the above, no personal data linked to you remains in our systems after deletion.
Can I get my account back?
No — deletion is final. If you change your mind, you'll need to create a new account with the same phone number. Past wash history, referral bonuses, and subscription state will not be restored.
